Recruitment Tracks and Departments

Track Definition Departments for Admission
Korean Language Track This is the admission process that verifies the 'Korean language proficiency' of applicants at the time of admission, and most of the classes are conducted in Korean. Please refer to the admission guidelines for more details
English Track ?This is the admission process that assesses the 'English proficiency' of applicants at the time of admission, and most of the classes are conducted in English. Please refer to the admission guidelines for more details.
Chinese Track This is the admission process that assesses the 'Chinese proficiency' of applicants at the time of admission, and most of the classes are conducted in Chinese. International Law Department

Integrated Master's and Doctoral Program Type 1 Equivalent to the Master's Degree Program
Integrated Master's and Doctoral Program Type 2 1. Individuals who are currently in their 2nd semester or beyond of the master's program at our university (students in the 3rd or 4th semester)
2. Those whose major field in the master's program matches the major field they are applying for in the integrated program
※ Taking a leave of absence before entering the integrated program is not allowed (if a leave of absence is taken, the acceptance will be canceled).
※ Applications from students on leave of absence or graduates are not accepted."

Division Details
Applicants for the English Track who are from countries where English is the native language (South Africa, New Zealand, the United States, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia) and have completed secondary education or higher education (university-level courses) Applicants who do not possess language proficiency test scores may be exempt from submitting a score and will be evaluated through an interview for final admission. In this case, they must submit proof of completing their secondary or higher education in English. (Applicants with language proficiency scores should submit their language test scores.)
Applicants for science and engineering, arts and physical education, and medicine Applicants without language proficiency scores may be exempt from submitting their scores and will be evaluated through an interview. (Applicants with language proficiency scores should submit their language proficiency test scores.)

Applicants who pass the qualification assessment are all candidates for document review and a major field interview.

Approval letter
  • Submit only if the departments of the lower-level programs are different for applicants in the field of science and medicine.
  • Request via email to the advising professor of Dong-A University's department of application (refer to the admission guidelines for contact information).
  • When requesting an approval letter, provide a comprehensive explanation of your application details, academic intentions, expertise in your field, research plan, etc. (Attach CV).

Submit all documents in Korean or English. Documents in other languages should be translated into Korean or English and certified before submission.

Additional documents may be required for qualification assessment.
