Eligibility

Nationality Criteria Foreign students with both parents being foreigners
※ Dual citizens and stateless individuals are not considered as foreigners.
Educational Qualifications Freshman Admissions High school graduates or individuals recognized as having education equivalent to or higher than high school according to the law
Transfer Admissions 2nd Year
  • Graduates who have completed the first year or more at a 4-year domestic university (excluding summer sessions).
  • Graduates (or prospective graduates) of domestic (or foreign) 2(3)-year colleges.
  • Those who have completed at least 1 year (2 semesters) of a regular curriculum at a 4-year regular university abroad, or have acquired 1/4 or more of the graduation credits (or 1/3 or more for the UK's 3-year universities) (or are expected to acquire them).
To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the following conditions
Transfer Admissions 3rd Year
  • Graduates who have completed at least the second year or 4 semesters (excluding summer sessions) at a 4-year domestic university.
  • Graduates (or prospective graduates) of domestic (or foreign) 2(3)-year colleges.
  • Those who have completed at least the second year (4 semesters) of a regular curriculum at a 4-year regular university abroad, or have acquired 1/2 or more of the graduation credits (or 2/3 or more for the UK's 3-year universities) (or are expected to acquire them).
Language Proficiency If any one of the following 1), 2), 3) is met
  • Achieve a level 3 or higher on the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).
  • Complete at least the Intermediate 2 level of the Dong-A University Korean Language Course (submit the original certificate).
  • Attain a level 3 or higher on the Dong-A Korean Language Proficiency Test.

Language proficiency scores are valid for up to 2 years from the application deadline date.

For undergraduate students, you must achieve at least level 4 or higher on TOPIK to graduate. (Specific language requirements may vary by department)

Exceptional admission criteria may apply for students entering fine arts departments (refer to the specific requirements in the admission guidelines).

Comprehensive evaluation including university grades

Applicants who pass the qualification assessment are all subject to document review.

Applicants for arts and physical education programs may undergo practical skill assessment.
